Fungi - Pin Molds
Order Mucorales

Pin molds are a genus of fungi that commonly grow on the dung of plant-eating animals. The tops of the stalks swell in the sunlight until the pressure causes them to rupture, sending spores up to 6 feet away. The spores land on plant material which is then eaten by animals. The spores can survive through the animals' gastrointestinal tract, exiting with the dung to restart the cycle.
